Terms of Use

Effective 22 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us about the Daroha app. Use the app and you accept them. We wrote them in plain language, because terms that nobody can read protect nobody.

What Daroha is

Daroha is a personal commute tracker for iOS. You log each trip, and the app shows statistics from the trips you logged.

The app has no GPS, no live traffic data and no route planner. It knows only what you type in.

Your account

An account is optional. Sign in with Apple or Google to sync your trips between your devices and to keep a backup.

Keep your Apple or Google account safe. We cannot see its password and we cannot reset it. You are responsible for who can open the device that holds your journal.

You can delete your Daroha account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

Your trips are yours

Your trips, your directions and your notes stay your content. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us one narrow permission: to store your content and to sync it for you. We use it for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy describes the detail.

The numbers are estimates

The app calculates every statistic from the trips you logged. A typical duration describes your past trips. It is not a prediction of your next one, and it is not a promise.

Do not use the app to plan a critical departure. Use a timetable or a navigation service for a flight, an exam or a medical appointment.

We are not responsible for a late arrival, a missed connection or any other result of a decision you make from these numbers.

Premium subscription

What you pay for

Premium keeps your period comparison up to date and unlocks its other directions and periods. Your first comparison is free.

These features stay free, with or without a subscription: logging trips, your full history, editing, custom directions, CSV import, CSV export, and the basic statistics.

Price and renewal

  • Daroha sells Premium as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The App Store shows the current price for your country before you buy.
  • Apple takes the payment, not us.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, until you cancel it.

How to cancel

Cancel in your Apple account settings, as you cancel any App Store subscription. Your access then continues to the end of the period you already paid for.

Ask Apple for a refund. We cannot refund an App Store purchase, because we never receive the payment.

When Premium ends

Nothing disappears. You keep every trip, and you keep the free features above. The app only stops calculating a new period comparison.

Fair use

Do not do these things with the app:

  • attack, overload or interrupt the service;
  • try to read or change the data of another person;
  • reverse-engineer the server or work around its security;
  • break the law of your country.

If you do, we can close your account. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.

Availability

The app works offline for your local trips. Sign-in and sync need our server and the services of other companies. Those can be slow, stop or change, and some of that is outside our control.

We can add, change or remove a feature. For an important change we write it in the release notes. We can also stop the service. If we do, we tell you first and you can export your trips.

Our responsibility

We give you the app as it is. We test it, and we fix what we find, but we cannot promise that it never fails.

We are not responsible for:

  • time you lost because you followed an estimate;
  • data you lost because you kept no copy — use Settings → Export trips;
  • a fault in Apple, Google, or another service that the app depends on.

Where the law lets us limit our liability, we limit it to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Where the law does not let us limit it, the law wins. Nothing here removes a right that you have as a consumer.

If something goes wrong

Write to support@daroha.app and tell us what happened and what you expected. Almost every problem ends there.

For a payment problem, contact Apple Support as well. Apple holds the transaction.

Applicable law

The law of Poland governs these terms. Consumer rights in your country stay in force.

If there is a dispute, write to support@daroha.app first. If we cannot resolve it, the competent courts of Poland can hear the dispute, unless consumer law gives you another court.

Changes

We can update these terms when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Use the app after an update and you accept the new terms.

If an update takes away something important to you, stop using the app and delete your account. Export your trips first.
